Ingredients
3/4 cup butter, softened1 tablespoon lemon juice1-1/2 teaspoons dried minced onion1-1/2 teaspoons garlic salt1-1/2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes3/4 teaspoon dill weed1/4 teaspoon sugar1/4 teaspoon pepper4 halibut or swordfish steaks, 1-inch thick
Preparation
In a small bowl, combine the first eight ingredients; let stand for 30 minutes. Spread 1 tablespoon herbed butter over each halibut steak.
Using long-handled tongs, moisten a paper towel with cooking oil and lightly coat the grill rack. Grill fish, butter side down, covered, over medium heat or broil, buttered side up, 4 in. from the heat for 5-1/2 minutes.
Spread 1 tablespoon herbed butter over each halibut steak; turn and spread with remaining butter. Grill or broil 5-6 minutes longer or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
