Ingredients

4 pounds bone-in country-style pork ribs1/4 cup canola oil1 medium onion, chopped2 garlic cloves, minced1 cup ketchup1/4 cup packed brown sugar1/4 cup cider vinegar1/4 cup hot pepper sauce2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce2 tablespoons prepared mustard

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350°. Place ribs in a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Bake, covered, 1-1/2 hours or until no longer pink.

Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic; cook and stir until tender. Stir in the remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Drain ribs. Grill, covered, over indirect low heat 45 minutes, turning once. Baste with barbecue sauce. Grill 15 minutes longer or until meat is tender, turning and basting frequently.
