Ingredients

2-1/2 cups packed brown sugar2 cups water2 cups cider vinegar2 cups ketchup1 cup canola oil4 tablespoons salt3 tablespoons prepared mustard4-1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce1 tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce1 teaspoon pepper1 teaspoon Liquid Smoke, optional10 pounds bone-in chicken thighs and chicken drumsticks1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt

Preparation

In a large bowl, combine the first 11 ingredients. Pour into two large shallow dishes; add equal amounts of chicken to dish; turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Drain and discard marinade. Sprinkle chicken with seasoned salt. Grill chicken, covered, over indirect medium heat until a thermometer reads 170°-175°, 15-20 minutes on each side.
