Ingredients

3 cups salad croutons4 cups shredded cheddar cheese1 can (4 ounces) chopped green chiles6 large eggs3 cups 2% milk2 teaspoons ground mustard1 teaspoon salt1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Preparation

Arrange croutons in a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese and chiles. In a bowl, beat remaining ingredients. Pour over cheese. Refrigerate, covered, 8 hours or overnight.

Remove dish from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Preheat oven to 350°. Bake, uncovered, until a knife inserted in center comes out clean, 40-45 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
