Ingredients

1 pound fresh green beans, cut into 2-inch pieces2 teaspoons minced garlic1/2 cup water2 tablespoons olive oil1 teaspoon dried oregano1/2 teaspoon salt1/4 teaspoon pepper

Preparation

In a large saucepan, bring the beans, garlic and water to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 8-10 minutes or until tender. Drain. Stir in the oil, oregano, salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
