Ingredients

1/2 cup butter, softened3/4 cup sugar3/4 cup packed brown sugar2 teaspoons vanilla extract2 large eggs, room temperature1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour1 teaspoon baking powder1/2 teaspoon salt1 cup white baking chips1-3/4 cups plain M&M’s, divided

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, cream butter, sugars and vanilla until light and fluffy, 5-7 minutes. Beat in eggs, 1 at a time. Whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture. Stir in chips and 1 cup of M&M’s.

Spread evenly into a greased 13x9-in. baking pan. Sprinkle with the remaining 3/4 cup M&M’s. Bake until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in center comes out with moist crumbs, 25-30 minutes. Cool on a wire rack. Cut into bars.
