Ingredients

1/2 cup butter2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, coarsely chopped2 eggs, beaten1 cup sugar2/3 cup all-purpose flour1/2 cup chopped nuts1/2 teaspoon baking powder1/2 teaspoon vanilla extractConfectioners’ sugar, optional

Preparation

In a microwave, melt butter and chocolate; stir until smooth. Cool. Transfer to a large bowl. Stir in the eggs, sugar, flour, nuts, baking powder and vanilla.

Pour into a greased 8-in. square baking pan. Bake at 350° for 16-20 minutes or until top is set. Cool on a wire rack. Dust with confectioners’ sugar if desired.
