Ingredients

3 cups fiddleheads1 cup cooked shell macaroni1/2 cup diced unpeeled apple1/4 cup chopped celery1 cup diced cooked shrimp1/4 to 1/2 cup mayonnaise1 tablespoon lemon juice1 teaspoon grated lemon zestSalt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Cook ferns in a small amount of water until tender. Drain. Toss with all remaining ingredients. Chill.
