Ingredients
1/4 lb. semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
1/4 lb. white chocolate, chopped
2 tbsp. coconut oil, divided
18 Double Stuf Oreo cookies
Preparation
Step 1Line baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. Step 2In a microwave-safe bowl, mix semisweet chocolate and 1 tablespoon coconut oil. Melt in the microwave in 30 second bursts, being sure to stir to keep things smooth. Transfer ¼ of melted chocolate into a plastic bag. Repeat with the white chocolate. Step 3Working one at a time, dip an Oreo in either the white or semisweet chocolate until fully coated and transfer to the baking sheet. Step 4Immediately, pipe 3 concentric circles of the opposite colored chocolate on the dipped cookie. Using a toothpick and starting from the inner-most circle, drag a line through each circle toward the edge of cookie to create web.Step 5Repeat until all cookies are dipped and decorated, then transfer to the refrigerator to set.
You’re going to be melting both chocolates and dipping the Oreos straight in there, but it can be difficult to get the chocolate to be dippable and drizzelable. No fear! We added just a bit of coconut oil to the chocolate chips that will help to keep everything nice and smooth. And you won’t taste any coconut! Want to customize this recipe? You can use different flavor Oreos or use different food coloring in your white chocolate!
