Ingredients
1/2 cup chopped onion1 tablespoon canola oil2 cans (14-1/2 ounces each) chicken broth2 cans (16 ounces each) great northern beans, rinsed and drained1 can (4 ounces) chopped green chilies2 cups cubed cooked chicken2 garlic cloves, minced2 tablespoons minced fresh cilantro1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon dried oregano1 teaspoon ground cumin1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Preparation
In a large saucepan over medium heat, saute onion in oil until tender. Add remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes or until heated through.
